Our vision is to support the challenging social cohesion, equality and diversity mission through the Embrace Equality Standard. By delivering equality of opportunity to the individual in employment and through fair service delivery.
Through the processes and built-in transparency of the Equality Standard, the Embrace vision is to assist in the elimination of corruption.
To address tribalism and marginalisation, helping governments to demonstrate that they recognise and embrace the diversity of their population and ensure equality of opportunity for every citizen.
Our approach is based on the philosophy and legislation of nations. However, legislation alone does not change people’s behaviour.It might give some form of legal redress but it does nothing to change a person’s attitudes, or indeed those of an organisation.
It is therefore imperative that these legal provisions are translated into a common reality within the public service.
