Phil provides technical expertise and experience of developing and implementing complex business systems and processes. These skills ensure that Embrace has the ability to design and deliver its projects effectively and efficiently.


Phillip is CEO of Embrace and has responsibility for directing and coordinating the efforts of our team of subject matter experts.

Phillip is also the technical lead providing expertise on operational efficiency to ensure that its projects are effective and built on strong communications and collaboration with partners, clients and stakeholders. Phillip is also responsible for ensuring that in the design and implementation of new business systems and processes which are part of Embrace’s projects, those systems are high quality, effective, and deliver sustainable value for money solutions for clients.

Phillip has extensive Information Technology and service management experience and expertise. His career has evolved from a background in business and systems analysis (SSADM), relational database design and application development, through project management (PRINCE2 Practitioner) to consultancy focusing on ICT strategy and enterprise information systems and architecture.

During his career Phillip has been responsible for the design and development of information systems and applications in a number of commercial and public sector projects. Phil is CEO of a software development company which specialises in bespoke business applications for private companies with challenging requirements around complex business processes and collaboration.

In his work as a consultant Phillip has applied his experience to a number of successful engagements with a range of public and private sector clients. Phillip has also taken the leading role in devising, implementing, and managing ICT services and systems for new organisations and businesses. A key aspect of these engagements is building the new organisation’s competencies, particularly around information systems and management, data quality, performance monitoring and analysis, management reporting and benchmarking.

Phillip works effectively with all levels of management and staff to deliver successful ‘real world’ outcomes that focus on efficiency, effectiveness and value for money as well as technical quality. A strong communicator, he is committed to sharing his expertise and transferring knowledge to client organisations and mentoring individual staff wherever possible.
